As another successful and enjoyable summer season comes to a
close I want to thank all of the many volunteers that work
behind the scenes to make our Dam organization run smoothly.
Not only the board but many of your neighbors that come out
whenever we ask and help out in any way they can. I would
like to especially thank our Treasurer, Kris, who works
tirelessly to keep our books organized and get the invoices
sent out yearly not to mention deal with my ridiculous
questions. Unfortunately it is just about time to drain the
lake. Our date to open is the weekend of the 18th which is
one week after Columbus day weekend. We were contacted by
the town and asked not to drain the lake with the same
exuberance as we normally do to limit the daily water flow
downstream towards the (under construction) Harrisville dam.
We have agreed to limit the water flow to half its normal
rate which will result in the water level dropping at a much
slower pace than normal. I apologize if this causes any
inconvenience or delays any projects but it is the right
thing to do for our neighbors in town. I hope everyone has
enjoyed their summer and as a reminder, invoices are out and
due upon receipt. If you haven't received a bill please
reach out to me at

If all
of us , including significant others, take 30 seconds and complete
the survey/petition by simply clicking on the Endorsement Survey
below we could possibly see state funding to control the lake weeds.
Please note PRDMD does not have any jurisdiction regarding invasive
weeds but this problem impacts us all.

collecting from the owners of property within the district the costs
of maintaining and repairing the Dam and the access routes to the
